- The Leader’s Prayer Life
Nehemiah was a man of prayer, nine different times in this book he prays. In Nehemiah 1 we have one of the great prayers of the Bible. We learn a lot about people by listening to their prayers. We’re going to get an inside look at this man, Nehemiah. We’re going to see what his private life is like. We’re also going to learn how to pray the kind of prayers that gets answered.

Dan O’Deens - How to Relate Wisely to Others

Dan O’Deens - How to Manage Your Mouth
“How to Manage Your Mouth” Our mouths get us into a lot of trouble. James talks more about the tongue than anybody else in the New Testament. Every chapter in the book of James says something about managing your mouth. As we explore the power of our tongue we could say whatever is in the well comes out in the water. This week will talk about mouth but will dive deep into the heart of the matter.
James 3:1-12
Dan O’Deens - The Making of a Leader
There are few things that are needed more in life today than stability. We need it in our homes, our nation, our world. There are rapid changes and upheavals and we need stability. It comes from leadership. On the leadership pyramid, as the leadership expands and the tasks expand then there is stability. But if the tasks are greater than the number of leaders the pyramid falls over.
Nehemiah 1:1-4
Dan O’Deens - How to Have Real Faith
If you put the word “real” in front of anything it sells more — real coffee or real leather. We’re interested in the genuine article. James teaches about how to have a real faith. There’s a lot of phony religions out there — people who think they are Christians and really aren’t. We will explore the difference between real and counterfeit Christians. Authentic believers and fake believers; how we can have a real faith.
James 2:14-26

- How to Treat People Right
How to treat people right! Our biggest problem is people problems. If everyone could just be like me! But God, created us with diversity and uniqueness. Together we will explore how to love God and love people the same way Jesus loves us. When we as a Church learn to love we will begin to grow.
James 2:1-13
Dan O’Deens - Experience Freedom This Easter
Jesus bought our freedom with His blood. What does that mean? What can Christ set me free from? We will explore what Scripture says about how Jesus can set us free and where we need to experience freedom. This Easter you can be set free…that is great news!
Galatians 5:7, Colossians 1:14
Dan O’Deens - How to be Blessed by the Bible
The Bible is a book of blessing. It promises comfort, strength, hope, wisdom, joy, power, and purpose. But just because you have a Bible doesn’t mean you’re going to get the benefit from it. James, being his practical self, gives us three steps on how to be blessed by the Bible. 1:25 is the key verse, “The man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives us freedom and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard but doing it, he will be blessed in what he does.”
James 1:19-27
Dan O’Deens - The RED Cross
Usually, when we think of missions we think of the Great Commission. But missions didn’t begin with the Great Commission. Missions began with God. It first beat in His heart before it was ever breathed as the life sustaining force into His church. Our God is Missions Minded. He has breathed LIFE into the Church and through IT offers HOPE to the WORLD!
